Responding to Requests for Non-Beneficial Treatment

My article reflecting on the implications of Betancourt v. Trinitas Hospital for New Jersey healthcare providers has been published in MD Advisor (Winter 2012, p12-17).  While this piece is primarily anchored in New Jersey law, much of the analysis (on the the limitations of some responses to a request for non-beneficial treatment) is equally applicable to providers in other states.
