Lorna Baillie - Doing Well after Declared "Technically Dead"

On February 10, Lorna Baillie had a huge heart attack.  Paramedics performed CPR and shock treatment before rushing her to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.  Three hours later, doctors told her family there was nothing more they could do.  They said she was "technically dead."  But within 45 minutes of being told she could not be revived, Lorna's grieving family saw faint signs of breathing and she was rushed into intensive care.  Yesterday, the family were given more positive news when an MRI scan revealed no obvious brain damage.  (Scotland Daily Record)
